Our leading client is seeking a Quality Manager (TQM) who will lead the Quality Assurance strategy across the organisation - driving a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and compliance with ISO standards. The role will focus on reducing errors, improving processes, and embedding quality across all functions, including operations, sales, and procurement.

Duties:

  • Lead and implement the company’s Quality Assurance strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all sites and departments.
  • Identify high-risk or high-error areas and implement targeted improvement plans.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, Lean projects, and Six Sigma initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving workshops involving production, quality, and operational teams.
  • Promote structured root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Plan and carry out BSI internal audits across the organisation (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 as applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support external audits and maintain certification readiness.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Quality / TQM / Continuous Improvement leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001 essential; 14001/45001 desirable).
  • Experience delivering Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives.
  • Ability to analyse data and drive decisions using KPI trends.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Quality, or related discipline (desirable).
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt) preferred.
  • Internal Auditor qualification (ISO standards) desirable.
