We are seeking a skilled Die Cutter Operator to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating die-cutting machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in engineering, tools and materials handling. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety standards.
Duties:
- Operate a Dakiou Flat Bed Die Cutter to die cut solid board according to specifications
- Read and interpret drawings, and work orders
- Monitor the cutting and creasing process to ensure accuracy and quality
- Set up and adjust cutting tools and equipment
- Inspect finished product for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Work with a printer as a team to ensure quality production on the printer die cutting operation
- Problem solve and repair the equipment if issues arise / Preventive Maintenance
Benefits / shifts:
- Salary Β£30,000 + Company Pension
- Shifts/Hours: 12 hours - 7am - 7pm: Thur / Fri / Sat β 1 day off then Mon / Tue / Wed β 7 days off Days / Nights (rotating) + OVERTIME!
