Start People seeking a skilled and reliable Production Welder to join our team in Crook. The role involves the fabrication and welding of handrails and associated metalwork in a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a welder with good attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This role is permanent from day 1.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MIG welding on mild steel components for handrail production
- Fabricate and assemble handrails to drawings and specifications
- Work within a production-based environment to meet daily targets
- Ensure all welds meet required quality and safety standards
- Carry out basic preparation work (cutting, grinding, measuring)
- Conduct visual inspections of own work to maintain quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Follow all company health & safety procedures
- Previous experience in production welding (essential)
- Competent in MIG welding (TIG experience an advantage but not essential)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong reliability and punctuality
Starting off on a Day Shift whilst training then moving to a 2 shift rotation. (Days & Backs)
