About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a committed and experienced Regulation 44 Visitor to join a trusted and well-established children\’s services provider. This is a remote-based role with regular travel across services to conduct 20 Regulation 44 visits per month in line with the Children\’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 .

You\’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained across multiple residential homes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about improving outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out independent monthly visits to children\’s homes in accordance with Regulation 44
  • Write clear, evidence-based reports for internal teams and Ofsted
  • Assess the quality of care, safeguarding practices, and general welfare of children
  • Engage with children, staff, and stakeholders during each visit
  • Keep up-to-date with current legislation and best practices in residential childcare

Requirements

  • Proven experience within social care, ideally in children\’s residential settings
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, children\’s rights, and care regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage travel across multiple sites
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
