Refrigeration Service Engineer
Location: Field-based – multiple customer sites across the East Midlands region
Salary: Up to £40,600 per year (DOE) + Overtime + Call Out Retainer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their expanding team. The Role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, PPM maintenance, and occasional installations of refrigeration equipment across a range of customer sites. Excellent customer service and clear communication are key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reactive service and fault-finding on refrigeration systems
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Participation in a 1-in-5 standby/call-out rota (core hours: Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm)
- Completing paperwork accurately and on time
- Meeting agreed KPIs and service standards
Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualified Refrigeration Engineer with F-Gas certification
- Previous experience within the public or private sector
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
