Your main responsibilities are:

• Driving improvements to our compliance framework: You will identify opportunities and lead initiatives to make a step‑change improvement in our existing compliance and safety processes, ensuring we stay ahead of global standards (e.g., CE, IEC, ISO, UL).
• Translating standards into requirements: You will analyse complex safety standards and regulations and translate them into clear, verifiable system and subsystem requirements for our hardware and software teams.
• Analysing system architecture: You will review the system architectures to identify potential hazards, ensure safety‑critical functions are robust, and guide design choices from the start.
• Conducting technical risk assessments: You will lead and document technical risk assessments, including Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) at the system level.
• Contributing to product certifications: You will be a key part of the certification process, preparing technical documentation and collaborating with external labs to ensure successful product validation.
• Developing validation strategies: You will work with our test and validation teams to create and execute test plans that verify compliance and validate the safety of the overall system.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Extensive experience in systems engineering, compliance, safety, or a related role.
• Familiarity with product safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262, UL 3300).
• Proven experience writing and managing technical requirements.
• Strong background in risk assessment methodologies (e.g., FMEA, HARA).
