Starship Technologies is revolutionising deliveries with autonomous robots. These robots are designed to deliver food, groceries, and packages across college campuses and neighbourhoods in minutes. Starship has now completed millions of autonomous deliveries to date, travelled millions of miles, and is currently doing more than 140k road crossings each day. Our contribution to society includes reducing congestion and pollution, providing zero-emissions deliveries, increasing the quality of life for residents, empowering seniors and disabled people, and enabling affordable delivery for local businesses.
As a Robot Technician at our Leeds hub, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the health of our global fleet of robots. Please note that this is a full-time permanent position located in Leeds, and requires eligibility to work in the UK and a full UK driver's licence.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the health of our global fleet of robots.
- Carrying out maintenance activities and upgrades on robots and infrastructure.
- Creating and maintaining internal and partner documentation.
- Supporting operational tasks and field rescues.
- Working with engineers to improve robots' health and design.
- Maintaining hub-based warehouse and regular inventories.
- Conducting root cause analysis.
