Starrycare is seeking an experienced and motivational Motor Vehicle Lecturer to deliver high -quality teaching, support student progression, and maintain strong industry standards across motor vehicle programmes.

Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/h2>Act as Programme Tutor for a caseload of full -time and part -time students.<\/p><\/li>Deliver engaging teaching sessions, practical workshops, and tutorials that support successful student completion.<\/p><\/li>Embrace and integrate new learning technologies (ILT) into teaching practice.<\/p><\/li>Promote positive student behaviour, discipline, and morale, ensuring a productive learning environment.<\/p><\/li>Record and report accurate data including e -registers, assessments, eILPs, and progress reviews.<\/p><\/li>Maintain high -quality teaching files including schemes of work, lesson plans, and tracking documents.<\/p><\/li>Keep curriculum knowledge up to date and maintain strong links with the motor vehicle industry.<\/p><\/li>Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, ensuring safeguarding and equality are upheld.<\/p><\/li>Undertake any other reasonable duties aligned with the responsibilities of the role.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>A recognised Motor Vehicle qualification (Level 3 or above) or equivalent industry expertise.<\/p><\/li>A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, CertEd, DET) or willingness to work towards one.<\/p><\/li>Proven experience teaching or training in Motor Vehicle Maintenance (light vehicle or relevant pathway).<\/p><\/li>Strong practical knowledge of diagnostics, servicing, repair, and automotive technologies.<\/p><\/li>Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills.<\/p><\/li>Strong organisational skills with experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.<\/p><\/li>Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and creating an inclusive learning environment.<\/p><\/li><\/div><\/span>Benefits<\/h3>* Competitive rates of pay – we recruit the best and pay above the market rate<\/div>* Flexible work patterns – choose when you work and how often<\/div>* A 24/7 carer helpline and ongoing administrative support<\/div>* Free uniform<\/div>* Generous mileage allowance<\/div>* Insurance coverage<\/div>* Facilitate your DBS check<\/div>* Facilitate your care training<\/div>* Pension<\/div>* Insurance coverage<\/div><\/span>
