Starrycare is seeking a reliable and hardworking
Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our client sites.
The successful candidate will ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to a high standard while following health, safety, and infection control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and empty waste bins.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Follow infection control, health & safety, and COSHH guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate person.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and respect in the workplace.
Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, COSHH, and infection control procedures.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and workplace hygiene standards.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
