Starrycare is seeking a compassionate and experienced
Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT Therapist) to provide high-quality psychological therapy across our client sites.
The successful candidate will assess, treat, and support individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions using evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and psychological assessments.
- Develop and deliver individualised CBT treatment plans.
- Provide one-to-one CBT interventions for a range of mental health conditions.
- Monitor client progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide psychoeducation and promote recovery and wellbeing.
- Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional standards.
- Participate in clinical supervision, training, and continuous professional development.
- Maintain compliance with clinical governance, health & safety, and organisational policies.
Requirements
- Accredited qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
- Registration with BABCP or an equivalent recognised professional body (preferred).
- Relevant degree in Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a related healthcare profession.
- Up-to-date knowledge of CBT principles, mental health practice, and clinical governance.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
