Set within the Kent countryside, the hotel features 146 bedrooms, a full leisure club & spa, extensive Meetings & Events facilities, and three diverse food & beverage outlets. From corporate conferences and race‑day hospitality to spa breaks, weddings and weekend escapes, Mercure Brands Hatch is a flagship destination within the Accor portfolio.
We are looking for a driven, people‑first Hospitality Leader to take full operational ownership of the hotel – leading the team, elevating the guest experience, and strengthening our commercial performance.
Job Description
YOUR ROLE:
- Full day‑to‑day leadership of hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Maintenance, Leisure Club & Spa, and Guest Services.
- Ensure consistent delivery of Accor brand standards, service culture and SOPs across all departments.
- Drive revenue optimisation and cost control across Rooms, M&E, Spa and F&B – with accountability for P&L, payroll and departmental performance.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team: recruitment, coaching, succession planning, rostering optimisation and performance management.
- Oversee Health & Safety, compliance, licensing and operational risk management; champion sustainability initiatives including Green Key Certification.
- Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction through proactive service leadership and ownership of RPS performance.
- Provide strategic input on property improvements, CAPEX planning, product development and commercial opportunities.
- Strengthen the hotel’s position as the preferred venue for motorsport groups, corporate events, conferences, weddings and leisure guests.
Qualifications
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:
- Previous experience in a premium hotel environment is essential, ideally within a multi‑outlet or M&E‑focused property.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving revenue, GOP and guest satisfaction targets.
- Passion for creating memorable guest experiences with meticulous attention to detail.
- Inspirational leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
