We are looking for a highly skilled Insurance Pricing professional to be a key representative of the Pricing function within NFU Mutual’s largest transformational project. This role sits within the team responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing our pricing capabilities, ensuring seamless integration within the broader project scope. As a pivotal figure in driving pricing strategy and execution within an agile delivery environment, you will act as the primary point of contact for pricing-related technical queries and decision-making.

As a lead member of the agile squad, you will provide critical input into requirements, working closely with the Workstream Lead, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to ensure the smooth operation of pricing squads. You will also take ownership of planning, reporting, and presenting to senior stakeholders both within and outside the pricing function, while contributing to the maintenance of the pricing-wide programme plan to support timely and effective delivery. In this role, you will act as an ambassador for the Pricing function, building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders across NFU Mutual, including Underwriting, Claims, and IT.

We’re seeking a skilled pricing professional with significant experience gained within a general insurance pricing function. You’ll be able to demonstrate strong expertise in all Pricing disciplines, as well as experience of Radar, Guidewire and SQL. You’ll have a proven track record in pricing implementation, combined with the ability to coach and mentor team members, setting clear direction for junior team members, and peer-review work to ensure accuracy and quality. Ideally, you will have experience working in an agile environment, with a strong understanding of agile operating models and processes.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly when engaging with senior-level professionals
  • Strong critical and logical thinking skills, enabling effective problem-solving and sound decision-making.
