As CFC continues to scale in the UK we are seeking a Distribution Manager to oversee broker engagement in the South of England. This position will lead development and sales activity across our broker network, be responsible for building a regional distribution plan and executing our long term distribution strategy in the UK.

The Distribution Manager will be CFC's regional representative in the South and the primary contact for all key broker relationships in the region. The role will assist brokers in understanding and navigating CFC, establishing comprehensive contact frameworks between CFC and our broker partners and overseeing regional development activity.

About the role

  • You will work closely with our specialist underwriting teams to understand individual product strategies and coordinate regional development initiatives, leveraging your knowledge of the regional market and external broker relationships.
  • As the regional expert, you will focus and direct underwriting sales efforts toward high value development opportunities to generate new revenue streams and increase CFC’s existing market share.
  • As a senior member of the distribution team, you will play a vital role in evolving our sales strategy and defining the technology, training and investment required to build a world class sales culture.
  • Be the main point of contact for brokers to manage general trading opportunities and challenges effectively within the region.
  • Design a regional distribution plan aligned to the broader UK distribution strategy and evidence delivery through agreed KPIs.
  • Identify key broker opportunities to drive growth in the region and coordinate CFC’s development activity to best navigate each trading relationship.
  • Build a deep understanding of broker strategies in the region and translate that insight into clear and effective product class strategies for each broker.
  • Produce opportunities to secure new business through sales activity that leverages existing national agreements, MI and technology.
  • Work closely with underwriting teams to understand product appetite, capability and communicate our proposition effectively to market.

About you

You will possess a deep interest in and understanding of the UK commercial insurance market, along with substantial broker-facing experience in either a sales or underwriting capacity. You will have proven experience that demonstrates your ability to quickly establish new relationships and evolve existing ones, illustrating your capacity to lead through influence.

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of the South regional broker market, who can serve as the dedicated point of contact for brokers in the region. You will be expected to work at a fast pace with high intensity, while also cultivating relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support our ambitious growth objectives.
