We are seeking a Claims Administrative Support Specialist to assist the Claims function, including support for London and Europe. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of claims data in line with the claims manual and compliance with regulatory and company procedures. Prepare and manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports related to claims. Manage claims processing in accordance with Starr and Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and within your delegated authority. Proactively manage the DOCOsoft workflow, including diaries, and ensure claims are recorded accurately. Attach relevant documentation to each transaction and maintain comprehensive notes on claim status and next steps to improve claims outcomes. Process and manage settled direct claims, including diary management on DOCOsoft, and ensure correct premium signings are addressed by the UW Ops department. Correct claim signings that have followed into suspense and manage manual bridging reserves during quarter-end closing, including reconciliation and removal once updated. Review loss fund adequacy, manage recovery of loss funds from prior years, upload bordereaux to DOCOsoft, and monitor ECF/Lirma incompletes. Provide general administrative support to complex claims adjusters during busy periods, including diary, static, and fee follow-up. Participate in other administrative projects as assigned by the Claims Support Team (CST). Report any suspicion of financial crime to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer immediately. Operate within the company’s standards for Treating Customers Fairly, as per Consumer Duty regulations. Identify and communicate training or resource gaps to management. Promote team collaboration and foster a strong team culture and identity. Ensure all accounts are contractually certain. Manage potential conflicts of interest to maintain the company’s integrity.
