Roles and Responsibilities
- Log all bound, quoted, working and declined risks into the business log;
- Ensure files are complete, contain all relevant documents and obtain any outstanding items from the broker or underwriter in readiness for Peer Review;
- Ensure that underwriting documentation is accurate, complete, up-to-date and meet Lloyd’s standards;
- Ensure policy wordings and clauses are slip referenced and agreed;
- Ensure all accounts are contract certain at the time of binding;
- Liaise with brokers to follow up on outstanding renewals as directed;
- Follow up on outstanding quotes with the relevant broker;
- Communicate frequently with the broker to establish the progress of premium collections;
- Work in conjunction with the Underwriter to deliver client/broker presentations and meeting;
- Develop market relationships through participation in market groups, conferences and networking events;
- Produce standard and ad-hoc reports as required.
Experience/Skills Required
- 2/3 years relevant experience in the class of business;
- Analytical and problem solving skills;
- Negotiation, judgment and decision making ability;
- Strong numeracy skills;
- Professional business writing and presentation skills;
- Strong communicator.
