The role involves supporting the Underwriting division through various administrative responsibilities:
- Entering risk and policy data into the Underwriting system(s) within the defined Service Level Agreements.
- Performing peer-to-peer quality assurance checks.
- Communicating and responding to all risk and policy queries promptly.
- Processing unmatched USMs and escalating issues as needed.
- Completing all tasks for month-end close.
- Assisting with credit control, managing aged debt, and addressing cash queries.
- Participating in team, departmental, and divisional meetings.
- Scanning and storing documentation appropriately.
- Ensuring underwriting files are complete and accurate.
- Supporting company projects and training new team members.
- Maintaining business logs and renewal spreadsheets.
- Assisting with peer reviews, audits, and ad hoc reporting.
- Reporting suspicions of financial crime and ensuring compliance with regulations.
