Our Client is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer to support onshore projects for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start.

Woodland Consultancy Services welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates and assesses applicants based on skills, experience and suitability for the role.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience as a Power Systems Studies Engineer within the oil and gas industry, including onshore projects
  • Ideally experience working on Aramco-related projects
  • Working knowledge of ETAP and EMT software (intermediate level)
  • Delivered power system studies across project lifecycles, including captive power generation (with and without grid connection)
JOB SCOPE:
  • Power System Studies included:
  • Equipment sizing
  • Load flow analysis
  • Short circuit studies
  • Motor starting and dynamic simulation
  • Harmonic analysis
  • Arc flash studies
  • Transient stability assessments
Responsibilities:
  • Execution of power system studies using industry-standard tools, including EMT software
  • Coordination and oversight of third-party engineering vendors
  • Delivery of study outputs to support engineering design and project decision-making
DURATION: 6-12 months
LOCATION: The role will be based on 4 days a week in our Clients Offices in Surrey and one day remote.
RATE: £65.00 per hour Ltd co rate
BENEFITS: Limited Company contract Outside IR35.
