Our Client is seeking a Principal Instrument Designer for an initial 2 month contract role that has an immediate start.
Woodland Consultancy Services welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates and assesses applicants based on skills, experience and suitability for the role.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working as a Principal Instrument Designer in the oil & gas industry
- Offshore project experience, as this role is supporting an offshore compression platform
- 2D experience and the ability to develop wiring/termination diagrams.
- Experience in developing drawings in AutoCAD
JOB SCOPE:
This role involves preparing various Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering deliverables, such as block diagrams, instrument indexes, location layouts, hookups, installation drawings, cable schedules, cable routing layouts, material take-offs, bills of material, and layouts for control and rack room.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Designer.
- Adhere to company and project standards, procedures, and specifications
DURATION: 2+ months initially
LOCATION: The role will be based on 5 days a week in our Clients Offices in Surrey. Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.
RATE: £45.00 per hour Ltd co rate. If the role is likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
BENEFITS: Limited Company contract Outside IR35.
