CONTRACT ADVISOR - CONTRACT – SURREY

Our Client, a global leader in engineering and construction for the energy and infrastructure sectors, delivering complex onshore and offshore projects worldwide, is currently looking for a Contract Advisor to join the team in Surrey.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience on similar role, ideally within commercial phase for wind offshore project.
Law degree or similar.
Proficiency in professional English writing.
Strong legal expertise, including LOGIC, FIDIC, Incoterms, and both common and civil law systems with a focus on contract law and partnership agreements.
Good knowledge of the Company's core business areas such as EPC contracts, platform components, Offshore plants and subsea fields installation.
Strategic thinker with the ability to assess risks, make informed decisions, and align actions with short- and long-term business goals while adapting to market trends and organizational needs.
JOB SCOPE:
Purpose of the position: As Contract Advisor you will provide contractual support to analyse, draft and negotiate the terms and conditions in Client contracts and Partner, Vendor or Subcontractor Agreements in line with Client's guidelines and procedures during conduct of business. You will propose suitable contract risk strategies in business acquisition phase that are favourable to Client during the performance of the contracts and / or agreements. Explore contractual solutions and alternatives to minimize risks and optimize opportunities during the contract negotiation in the commercial phase
