Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven IT Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team at STARLink Global. As an IT Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of cutting-edge IT solutions to organisations, government agencies, and enterprises. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in assigned markets and territories. Identify new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and referrals. Achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and objectives set by the management team. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. Conduct regular client meetings to understand their IT needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation to post-sale support. Consultative Selling & Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to identify their business needs and propose the most appropriate IT solutions from STARLink portfolio. Provide expert advice on a range of IT products and services, including cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing, data storage, and enterprise solutions. Work closely with internal teams, such as technical experts and pre-sales consultants, to design tailored solutions and ensure successful implementation. Sales Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and solution briefings to key decision-makers within client organisations. Articulate the value propositions of STARLink IT solutions and services in a clear and engaging manner. Address client concerns and objections, providing effective solutions to drive the sales process forward. Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and manage the contract process to ensure that both the client’s and STARLink interests are met. Close deals by effectively managing the sales pipeline and ensuring timely follow-up on opportunities. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements and ensure smooth contract execution. Market & Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities. Maintain in-depth knowledge of STARLink product offerings and the capabilities of its strategic vendor partners. Continuously enhance your knowledge of the IT solutions landscape to better serve clients and provide cutting-edge solutions. Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team, highlighting key opportunities, challenges, and market trends. Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust sales strategies to achieve target goals. Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical, and customer support teams, to deliver exceptional service to clients. Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, sales materials, and other initiatives to generate leads and increase brand awareness. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT sales or technology sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of IT solutions, including but not limited to cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, and enterprise software. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms. Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose the right solutions. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Desirable Skills: Experience working in a similar IT solutions provider or reseller environment. Familiarity with STARLink portfolio of products and services. Knowledge of regional market trends and competitive landscape. Experience with public sector or enterprise sales is a plus.
