The predicted salary is between 39520 - 48720 £ per year.

Due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for a Class 1 (C+E) night trunk driver based at our North Walsham depot. Trunking between our depot in North Walsham and our network hubs in the Midlands. Usual shift pattern is 5 nights per week, Monday to Friday & normally around 12 hour shift.

Trunking is undertaken on double deck curtain side trailers, the scheduled arrival time at the hubs will determine the departure time from our depot, but it is normally 18:00 - 20:00 (To be confirmed at interview). Prior to departure the driver will undertake walk round checks and secure the load. On arrival at the hub, wait until you are called to unload. After unloading, park as directed until instructed to reload. Once reloaded, secure the load and return to the depot.

Night trunking experience preferred, but not essential.

  • Salary position: £40,500 / year.
  • Daily meal allowance: £10 / shift worked - PAID TAX FREE. £50 / WEEK.
  • TOTAL: £42,820.
  • 28 Days holiday: / year. Some fixed holiday over Christmas shut down & holiday ban over the two week Easter period.
  • Death in Service Benefit: £60,000.00
