About the Role
As a Product Manager in the Customer Onboarding & Accounts subdomain, you will lead the product strategy, requirement gathering, design, and delivery of features. You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, documentation, QA, and business teams to bring products to market and maintain them. Your work will span product strategy, client‑facing requirements gathering, solution design, and product ownership in an engineering context.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of a best‑in‑class product, scoping breakthrough features and owning end‑to‑end delivery of your sub‑domain(s).
- Contribute to the overall onboarding and accounts roadmap.
- Work cross‑functionally with engineers, designers, document writers and QA to drive design and delivery.
- Prioritise tasks independently and communicate decisions clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage deadlines, raise delivery risks proactively.
- Build close relationships with Delivery and Customer Success teams, assessing feature requests and client requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Development to understand Engine's capabilities and support early‑stage sales conversations as an SME.
- Champion features and adapt communication style to various audiences.
Requirements
Your Background
- 2+ years of product manager/owner experience, ideally in FinTech or regulated bank settings.
- Strong eye for mobile UX and understanding of lending market trends.
- Experience delivering features from start to finish and ensuring post‑launch maintenance.
- Experience implementing end‑to‑end customer onboarding journeys for various entity types.
- Optional: experience across regions/jurisdictions.
- Comfort leading multiple workstreams and presenting internally and externally.
- Experience working directly with APIs.
- Strong problem‑solving and structured communication skills.
- Experience with customer‑management capabilities such as delegated access or multi‑party authorisation is a plus.
