As a Cloud Security Engineer at Starling, you will:
- Lead the design and implementation of critical security infrastructure, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and automated certificate management.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable infrastructure services within ECS and Kubernetes environments.
- Serve as a technical authority during cross-functional code reviews, ensuring that security best practices are integrated into the product from inception to deployment.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving threat landscape, proactively identifying and implementing emerging technologies to fortify our posture.
Professional Requirements
Proven expertise in IAM, certificate lifecycle management, and secure System Architecture. Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and a commitment to developing clean, maintainable code (ideally in Golang). A strong conceptual grasp of cryptography and experience securing containerized workloads (ECS/K8s). A track record of taking end-to-end ownership of complex projects and delivering them within defined timelines.
