The Opportunity
This is a brand new role that will support the business with the implementation, embedding and ongoing road map of activities for Workday – in the main, HCM, Payroll, Absence, Performance, Benefits, Advanced Compensation and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Leads the configuration, optimisation, and maintenance of the Workday tenant across various modules (HCM, Recruiting, Talent).
- Drives strategic, long-term improvements in user experience and data quality.
- Acts as a subject matter expert, taking ownership of projects, advising on industry standards, and influencing business decisions through configuration.
- Proactively challenge existing configurations.
- Expert-level configuration across modules like HCM, Time Off, Absence, and Compensation.
- Leading projects from conception to deployment.
- Partnering with stakeholders to define and execute business strategies.
- Deep understanding of Workday methodologies and reporting.
- Assist in the review, testing, implementation, training, and communication of Workday system changes and upgrades including the bi-annual Workday releases.
- Ability to interpret business problems into system solutions, ensuring system functionality is reflective of business and people policies.
- Comfortable and confident in working with large volumes of personal and sensitive data.
- Help identify process effectiveness and efficiency opportunities.
- Provide support to other functions for HR systems/platforms, which could include Human Capital Management, Onboarding, Performance, etc.
- Support on ensuring that Workday is fully integrated with key business systems.
- Perform detailed manipulation of complex data via tools such as spreadsheets and EIB's.
- Ensuring the system is intuitive for employees and managers.
- Documenting system processes and access, and ensuring this is maintained accurately.
