The Opportunity
As a Senior Marketing Executive at Starling, you will play a pivotal role in executing high-profile, integrated brand campaigns and product launches. Sitting in the brand marketing team, you’ll combine strong organisational and stakeholder management skills to manage cross-functional projects. You will bring structure, agility, and fresh energy to campaigns that elevate the Starling brand and engage millions of customers.
What you'll do:
- Working with the Brand Integration team, support the planning, delivery and execution of through the line marketing campaigns to build the Starling brand and increase growth of retail and business banking customers.
- Work collaboratively with creative functions - including the in-house Creative Studio, Production team and external agency partners - to deliver best in class creative that meets brief requirements. Ensure creative work is compliant with regulatory requirements and accurately portrays Starling’s products and services to consumers.
- Manage marketing approvals of creative and content (via Starling’s internal marketing approvals process) prior to publication.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are integrated across channels.
- Work closely with the media agency along with the Media and Comms Planning team to support the delivery of campaign creative against agreed media plans and deadlines.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- A passion for brands, creativity and innovation in marketing.
- Minimum of two years experience in a marketing campaigns and delivery role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, balance competing deadlines, and maintain strict attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in traditional & broadcast media channels and how to execute campaigns. This should include some understanding of media plans and media reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve a team objective.
- Financial sector experience and/or an awareness of the regulatory framework for financial services marketing activity is an advantage but not essential.
