Working Hours & Hybrid working: You will work a 37.5 hour week, with start and finish times between, Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm. All Starling colleagues spend a minimum of 10 days per month in the office, with flexibility to work the rest from home. There will also be a small need to travel to other office locations.
The Opportunity
The UAT Test Analyst's purpose is to ensure that projects within the Customer in Financial Difficulty (CiFD) cycle are fit for delivery through a robust testing process. This involves driving and managing the UAT process, including the creation and execution of test scripts, logging tests and observations, managing defect resolution and re-testing to closure, and coordinating with impacted functions.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Test Planning & Strategy: Define, document, and execute UAT strategies, test plans, and test scenarios/scripts based on business requirements.
- Execution: Perform manual testing and, if required, automated test scripts.
- Defect Management: Identify, log, track defects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders to ensure build works as per scope/requirements.
- Test Data & Environment: Ensure the UAT environment is correctly set up and manage test data for comprehensive testing.
- Reporting & Sign-off: Produce daily defect reports, test progress reports, and final test evaluation reports to facilitate the "Go/No-Go" decision.
