About The Starknet Foundation
The Starknet Foundation is the steward of Starknet, a permissionless validity rollup designed to scale the world’s most important blockchains without compromise. Having pioneered ZK-STARK technology to scale Ethereum, we are now entering a new era as the first network to settle simultaneously on both Bitcoin and Ethereum.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to support our VP of Go-To-Market (GTM) and help scale the team’s daily operations. This role exists to bring clarity, coordination, and executional rigor across GTM, empowering the team to operate effectively at both a strategic and executional level. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role. You’ll work closely with the GTM Leader and partner across Marketing and adjacent teams (Ecosystem, Growth, Product) to ensure priorities are clear, work is sequenced well, and progress is visible. You will not manage a team directly, but you will play a central role in keeping the GTM system running smoothly. This is a remote role and does not require UK residence. However, it is best suited for someone highly flexible and based in/willing to work European timezone hours, to enable close collaboration and real-time execution with the broader team.
What You’ll Do
- Establish and run a clear operating cadence for the GTM function, ensuring priorities, timelines, and dependencies are well understood and actively driven forward.
- Translate high-level direction into practical plans, milestones, and next steps that teams can execute against.
- Coordinate work across Marketing and cross-functional partners to maintain momentum and reduce friction.
- Proactively surface risks, tradeoffs, and decision points, bringing context and recommendations rather than simply escalating issues.
- Build lightweight processes, tools, and habits that improve execution and visibility without slowing teams down.
- Support planning, goal-setting, and retrospectives to continuously improve how the GTM function operates.
- Partner closely with the GTM Leader to bring structure and clarity to complex initiatives, while keeping ownership and accountability close to the work.
Who You Are
- You’re a strong operator who brings clarity to ambiguous situations and consistently follows through to outcomes.
- You’re comfortable working across teams and functions to influence without relying on formal authority.
- You combine strategic judgment with a bias toward action and are equally willing to roll up your sleeves or step back to assess tradeoffs.
- You care deeply about how systems operate and look for ways to improve how work gets done, not just to get things done yourself.
- You communicate clearly and directly, sharing information openly rather than acting as an intermediary.
- You have experience in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve and structure needs to be built, and where execution quality matters more than process for its own sake.
- You bring a background in consulting, strategy, operations, or a similar role where you were expected to both shape direction and drive execution.
- You’re comfortable working closely with senior leaders while staying deeply connected to day-to-day execution.
- You’re able to quickly understand complex products, ecosystems, and stakeholder dynamics, and are genuinely curious about how decentralized technologies and developer ecosystems work. You don’t need prior web3 experience to succeed in this role, but you do need the interest and learning velocity to develop it quickly.
Location: We have a strong preference for candidates based in Europe to support time-zone alignment with the team.
Important note: Due to the high level of interest in this role and to ensure every candidate gets a fair look, we kindly ask candidates to apply only via this listing vs reaching out to our team directly.
