Starkey Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for 2 experienced Service Engineers to join a well-established engineering company operating within the specialist ventilation, dust and fume extraction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated, technically skilled engineers who enjoy working independently, solving problems and delivering high standards of customer service. Our client is looking for individuals who can bring practical engineering experience, a proactive attitude and strong technical knowledge to their growing service team. THE ROLE As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, servicing and commissioning specialist engineering equipment at customer sites. Your responsibilities will include: Attending customer sites to carry out routine servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs. Providing first-line technical support and responding efficiently to equipment faults. Servicing and testing Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems in accordance with COSHH regulations and HSE guidance. Commissioning new equipment and carrying out performance testing. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and implementing effective solutions. Building strong working relationships with customers and delivering excellent service. Completing service reports and relevant technical documentation. ✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're interested in hearing from experienced engineers who have a strong technical background and enjoy a varied, hands-on role. Essential requirements: Previous experience in a field service engineering or similar technical role. Strong mechanical and technical fault-finding skills. Good understanding of engineering processes and maintenance procedures. Full UK driving licence. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively. Willingness to travel to customer sites. Desirable experience: Experience within HVAC, industrial ventilation, dust extraction or fume extraction. Knowledge of LEV testing and inspection. Electrical qualifications or relevant electrical experience. Familiarity with HMIs, inverters and control systems. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. WHY CONSIDER THIS OPPORTUNITY?
