An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established engineering services team based in Kings Lynn. This role offers long-term stability, regular overtime, and the chance to develop your skills within a supportive and experienced team. Your Responsibilities:
- Attending sites and carrying out assessments where required
- Stripping, overhauling and repairing industrial gearboxes, pumps and electric motors
- Working on a range of general mechanical equipment
- Participating in an emergency call-out rota
- Completing final inspections and quality sign-off
- Following established procedures and guidelines
- Working independently and to tight deadlines
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Supporting Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental standards
- Being flexible and willing to work overtime when required
What We're Looking For:
- A mechanical fitter with some exposure to industrial gearboxes, pumps or electric motors (advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
- A strong team player with a proactive attitude
- High levels of self-motivation and reliability
- Full UK driving licence
