Role Description

  • In this role, you will report into the HR Business Partner for Operations and be part of a wider, collaborative 12-person HR team.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers across a diverse workforce (field and office-based).
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, absence management and performance issues.
  • Coach and support line managers to build capability and confidence in people management.
  • Support delivery of people initiatives and change activity across the business.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures and best practice.
  • Work closely with Business Partners and wider People team to deliver a joined-up HR service.
  • Fast-paced, operational environment with a mix of field and office-based teams.
  • Collaborative, supportive culture.
  • Opportunity to develop and gain exposure to broader HR projects and business partnering activity.
  • Involvement in ongoing business change and growth.

About you:

  • Solid experience in an HR Advisory role, ideally within an operational or field-based environment.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge with confidence handling complex cases.
  • Practical, solutions-focused and commercially aware.
  • Approachable, credible and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Curious and enjoys understanding how the business operates.
  • Ideally available at short notice (within one month or less).
  • Certifications such as CIPD or equivalent are highly desirable.
