Your mission
As the Production Supervisor / Team Leader you will lead and optimise our production processes with expertise, leadership, and foresight. In this key role, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations. Your commitment and experience will ensure efficient, high-quality, and seamless production.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and oversee daily production operations within your area
- Lead, support and motivate a team of skilled production technicians and operatives
- Ensure efficient workflows and continuously optimise manufacturing processes
- Manage staffing levels, task allocation and team development
- Oversee training and upskilling of team members to maintain a high-performing workforce
- Monitor production KPIs, cost drivers, and process compliance
- Ensure production equipment is maintained, serviced and fully operational
- Supervise routine maintenance and coordinate reactive repairs as needed
- Foster a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality and supply chain teams
Qualifications
- Recognised vocational qualification or apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (e.g. Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering)
- Certification as a team leader/supervisor (e.g. ILM Level 3 or equivalent) is desirable
- Highly experienced in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in aerospace, defence, or high-tech engineering
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Solid understanding of manufacturing principles, workflow optimisation, and production planning
- Strong organisational skills and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with machinery maintenance and production tooling
- Experience in maintenance and servicing of machines and equipment is an advantage
- Clear and confident communication style with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Comfortable with travelling to Munich for initial training
- Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
