Act as a trusted advisor to managers across a diverse workforce (field and office-based).
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, absence management and performance issues.
- Coach and support line managers to build capability and confidence in people management.
- Support delivery of people initiatives and change activity across the business.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures and best practice.
- Work closely with Business Partners and wider People team to deliver a joined‑up HR service.
In this role, you will report into the HR Business Partner for Operations and be part of a wider, collaborative 12‑person HR team.

About you:
- Solid experience in an HR Advisory role, ideally within an operational or field‑based environment.
- Strong employee relations knowledge with confidence handling complex cases.
- Practical, solutions‑focused and commercially aware.
- Approachable, credible and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Curious and enjoys understanding how the business operates.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
- Ideally available at short notice (within one month or less).
