Minster is a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Warehouse Supervisor who's as passionate about great service as we are to join this site at West Drayton.
Job Description
Hours – 7.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects.
- Managing directly team of Warehouse Operatives.
- Producing monthly reports.
- Supporting the Branch Director and Operations Manager.
- Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning.
- Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!).
- Work as a direct support to the management team and act as a keyholder when needed.
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
- Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts.
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority.
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous industry experience preferred.
- Background within Warehouse Management, ideally within construction materials.
- A positive team player who is a strong and inclusive leader.
- A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a ‘customer 1st’ attitude.
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors.
- Strong focus on Health & Safety.
- Commercial acumen.
