Minster are looking for a Warehouse and Yard Assistant to join the busy, supportive team at their branch in Buckley.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
- Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck work
Hours of Work: 7.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
- Background within a Warehouse environment
- A positive team player
- A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a ‘customer 1st’ attitude
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors
- Strong focus on Health & Safety
- A forklift licence is highly desirable
