As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth for Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe and part of STARK Building Materials UK. Your responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, mastering product lines, supporting local market plans, and using our systems to process orders and manage delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Get to know our product lines and services to maximize customer interactions.
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers (face‑to‑face and over the phone) by understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions.
  • Understand local market dynamics to support sales growth plans.
  • Use in‑house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.

Qualifications

  • Proven background in sales with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Prior experience in the construction materials supply industry preferred.
  • Strong communication and commercial awareness.
  • Self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Knowledge of timber products preferred.
