Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Sales Advisor who's as passionate about great service as we are. Hours – 7.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday

As part of the role, you will be required to drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect customer orders, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and preparing orders for delivery to customer properties
  • Delivering orders to customer properties
  • Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
  • Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
  • Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
  • Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
  • Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
  • Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills and Experience
  • Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Stellar communication and people skills
  • Customer focussed individual
  • Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S
  • Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
  • Full valid manual driving license would be beneficial
