We’re searching for a Graduate Business Assistant to join us on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is primarily to support one of our specialist brands, combining general administrative duties with analysis, project management and delivery. The role is an opportunity to quickly absorb multiple aspects of business management through day-to-day support for a fast-paced leadership team. This is a stepping stone for a motivated, highly numerate graduate with excellent written communication and interpersonal skills and should lead to development roles within the brand or in the wider STARK Group.
The role is also a great opportunity to support the STARK UK Communications Director with general administrative support and together with the JPS Leadership Team produce internal and external communications collateral that promotes and protects company reputation.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- General administrative and business support including supporting our JPS Commercial Director and Managing Director, and STARK UK Communications Director
- Assisting with commercial modelling and analysis
- Producing weekly and monthly reports – utilising MS Excel
- Producing slide decks and other collateral utilising MS Power Point and Canva
- Work with the three key leadership touchpoints to produce thought leadership and business progress content in key target markets, using a range of communication channels and speaker platforms
- Work with the STARK UK Communications team to ensure JPS is represented in internal channels and events
- Manage the JPS community presence on the company SharePoint based intranet
- Analysis of data for reporting purposes
- Working collaboratively with the wider business
Experience and skills required:
- Business or Finance Graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 grade
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Advanced MS Power Point skills
- Strong understanding of Canva
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent copy writing skills
- A desire to grow and develop and a willingness to learn
- Great team working skills with a collaborative approach
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of AI would be an advantage
