Do you have a passion for working with people? Are you based in the Exeter area? Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for a Senior Sales Advisor who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Location: Jewson, Kestrel Way, Exeter EX2 7LA

Hours: 7:00am - 16:30pm or 7:30am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8am-12pm.

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will be an important contributor to the team's shared success and an essential part of our customers' positive experience with us.
  • Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions.
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions.
  • Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth.
  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of timber products is preferred.
  • Proven background in sales with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in the construction materials supply industry is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong communication and commercial awareness to provide great customer service.
