We're currently searching for a Strategy Manager to join us on a permanent basis working alongside one of our specialist brands, JPS. The Strategy Manager is responsible for shaping, developing and delivering strategic initiatives that drive long-term business performance for JPS, working closely and alongside the Commercial Director. This role supports senior leadership in defining strategic priorities, translating them into actionable plans, and ensuring effective execution through robust analysis, insight, reporting, performance measurement and stakeholder engagement.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead the development and refinement of the organisation's strategic plans
- Conduct market, competitor and internal performance analysis to inform strategic direction
- Translate strategy into clear, prioritised initiatives and implementation roadmaps
- Support in aligning operational plans with strategic objectives
- Track and report on strategic initiative progress, outcomes and value delivery
- Identify risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in strategic planning processes and frameworks
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insight
- Commercial acumen with a clear understanding of financial drivers and market dynamics
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple levels
- Strong project management and delivery capability
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information clearly
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience), ideally in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. MBA, CIMA, ACA) desirable
- Proven experience in strategy, consulting, corporate development or a similar role
- Experience working with senior leadership teams
- Demonstrated track record of delivering strategic projects and business transformation initiatives
