  • We're searching for a

Reporting and Dashboard Analyst to join us on a permanent basis.

Sitting within the Insights & Analytics team, reporting into the Insights & Analytics Lead with the responsibility for report creation, dashboard development & KPI monitoring.

The role is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving reporting solutions and dashboards that provide accurate, timely, and actionable information to decision makers.

The role focuses on delivering trusted performance reporting, automating reporting processes, and ensuring trusted, consistent KPI measurement across the organisation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES REPORTING & ANALYTICS

  • Support and maintain existing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Create dashboards and visualisations using the chosen BI tools
  • Assure dashboards within strategic Saa Ss used by Stark UK and contribute to their design and development
  • Develop visualisations which meet business requirements, are intuitive and support business decision-making.
  • Review and optimise dashboards for performance and usability
  • Produce regular operational, tactical, and strategic reports, ensuring reposts are delivered on time and accurately
  • Help define reporting and visualisation standards
  • DATA & TECHNICAL SUPPORT
  • Validate data used within reports and dashboards, identifying discrepancies and raising for resolution
  • Work with SQL datasets and reporting structures to support analytics requirements
  • Help devise and maintain standard definitions of KPIs and dimensions from both a technical and an easy-to-understand non-technical perspective.
  • Maintain reporting accuracy, using data consistently and in the correct context across dashboards, reports and other data products
  • STAKEHOLDER & TEAM SUPPORT
  • Interpret and challenge reporting requirements from business stakeholders, delivering desired outcomes and success criteria
  • Deliver demos and documentation to explain reports and dashboards to the intended users
  • Respond to interpretability questions from dashboard and report users
  • Explain reporting and KPIs to non-technical people
  • Collaborate with the Lead Analyst and wider analytics team on ongoing initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement across reporting and analytics processes
  • ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting outputs which satisfy business requirements
  • Maintain standardised KPI & dimension definitions, enabling consistency across all reporting outputs
  • Provide user friendly reporting which improves decision maker access to clearly understood information which drives self-service insights
  • Identify opportunities and implement automated solutions to reduce manual processes.
  • Contribute positively within a collaborative team environment
  • Keep supporting documentation up to date with process changes
  • PERSON PROFILE ESSENTIAL
  • Experience building dashboards in Power BI
  • MS Excel expertise
  • Understanding data visualisation principles and best practice.
  • Experience working with business KPIs and performance reporting
  • Detail orientated
  • Problem-solving ability experience and curiosity
  • Experience supporting live dashboards and reporting environments

DESIRABLE

  • Understanding of SQL and relational datasets
  • Experience building dashboards in Saa S (software as a service) products
  • Knowledge of DAX, Power Query
  • Knowledge of Pyspark
  • Experience supporting live dashboards and reporting environments
  • Experience automating reporting solutions
  • Experience of other reporting and dashboard tools (Databricks, Qlik, Tableau, Looker, Amazon-Q)
  • Microsoft 365 experience
