Responsibilities

  • You actively support the daily implementation of the Classified Information Protection Manual (GHB) and assist the Security Officer (SiBe) with administrative and organizational tasks.
  • You handle the administrative preparation, coordination, and documentation of security clearance procedures (SÜG) for employees.
  • You organize, conduct, and document security briefings and training sessions for employees.
  • You support the management of classified materials (VS) and help administer access permissions.
  • You assist in preparing and following up on internal audits, as well as documenting and handling security-related incidents.
  • You carefully maintain security-related documentation and databases and support general administrative tasks in corporate security.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in a security‑related field (e.g. security specialist, office management with a security focus) or a bachelor’s degree (e.g. security management, public administration with a security focus) or a comparable qualification.
  • Initial experience in an operational security environment (e.g. corporate security, security service providers, public authorities, or the armed forces) is an advantage, but motivated entry‑level candidates are also welcome.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant security regulations (e.g. SÜG, VSA) is desirable; knowledge of classified information protection (GHB) and BSI IT baseline protection is a plus.
  • Willingness to undergo a security clearance (at least level Ü2 according to SÜG) is required.
  • Fluent English skills are required.
  • High level of reliability, discretion, attention to detail, a structured and careful way of working, and strong team spirit.
