The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Hours: 07.00 – 16.30 or 07.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 08.00 - 12.00

Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake warehouse and yard duties to ensure customer needs are met, promote and maximise sales and margins by providing excellent customer service whilst maintaining a safe environment that is in line with company policies and procedures.
CUSTOMER SALES:
- Contribute towards an excellent customer experience and work towards Branch sales and profit targets by:
- Fulfilling customer orders in a timely fashion
- Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
- Checking incoming products against Proof of Delivery
- Completing documentation as necessary
- Realising full potential of all customer interactions and build effective relationships with customers and suppliers
- Understanding local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans
- Report missing or damaged products to management
- Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
OPERATIONAL COMPLIANCE:
- Support Line Manager to:
- Deliver key KPIs for your branch
- Manage loading and unloading process (customer/supplier deliveries, interbranch transfers)
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Safeguard Company’s stock, money and all other Company assets
- Enhance the Safety and Wellbeing culture and meet targets
- Carry out all cash transactions and till processes accurately and safeguard companies stock, money and all other company assets
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
- Strong communication skills
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors
- A health and safety focus
- Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
