This is a hands-on, commercially driven role where you will support the Branch Manager in maximising profitability, driving sales performance and building strong customer relationships across the local market.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive sales growth by developing strong relationships with new, existing, and lapsed customers, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and margin.
- Support the delivery of branch sales targets, profit performance, and local sales plans, taking ownership of key accounts and opportunities.
- Actively seek out new business, grow customer accounts, and use your market knowledge to influence commercial decisions and sales strategies.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience, adapting your approach to meet changing customer needs and expectations.
- Lead by example on the trade counter and over the phone, providing expert advice and solutions to customers.
- Support and coach the team to create a high-performance, sales-driven culture within the branch.
- Monitor performance against key KPIs including sales, margin, stock, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations, including stock management, logistics, and compliance.
- Deputise for the Branch Manager when required, taking ownership of branch performance and team leadership.
