We are recruiting for an experienced Yard Supervisor to join our thriving branch in High Wycombe. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:00 – 16:30, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.
What You’ll Be Doing- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice
- Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning
- Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)
- Work as a direct support to the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
