We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant (hybrid) to join our busy Regional Sales Centre in Newton Abbott, where you will be a single point of contact to meet customer requirements, whilst negotiating profitable sales and supporting the Major Build Solutions hub and branch network.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Centre Manager, the key duties for a Sales Consultant are:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from our customers looking to make and place orders.
  • Provide customers with product quotes and advise them with any queries they may have in relation to our products and services.
  • Process customer orders to their nearest branches or via our HUB network, maintaining excellent customer service throughout.
  • Look for opportunities to provide upsell where possible which will involve calling Housebuilders and Contractors in the South-West to develop your business accounts.
  • Focus on customer service and building solid customer relationships.
  • Be a proactive and enthusiastic individual who works well within a team.
  • Enjoy building relationships with our customers and colleagues.
  • Thrive on the challenge of proactive selling and actively engaging new and existing customers.
  • Deliver excellent customer service whilst providing them with Jewson’s services and products.
  • Maintain resilience and the ability to remain calm during busy periods.
  • Product knowledge or experience from a related industry is advantageous; however, full training will be provided.
