Warehouse Supervisor

Minster is a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our site in Cardiff.

Hours: 7.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

Location: 127 Craighall Road, Glasgow, G4 9TP

Key Responsibilities

1. Welcome customers to the branch and engage with their projects.
2. Manage a team of Warehouse Operatives.
3. Produce monthly reports.
4. Support the Branch Director and Operations Manager.
5. Prepare the team for the day, including route planning for delivery drivers.
6. Assist in processing customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift (training provided).
7. Support management and act as a keyholder when needed.
8. Check incoming deliveries and report any missing or damaged products.
9. Maintain stock levels and conduct regular stock counts.
10. Keep the branch tidy and prioritize Health & Safety.
11. Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in the industry preferred.
• Background in Warehouse Management, ideally in construction materials.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
• Commercial awareness.
