Overview

Minster, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Yard/Warehouse Assistant who is passionate about great service.

We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 33 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).

Hours: 7.00 – 17.00, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles – using a forklift where needed
  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Pick items to fulfil customer orders
  • Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate area
  • Getting to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone)
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
  • Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
