Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Warehouse Operative who’s as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours – 7.00 – 5.00 Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
- Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- On occasions drive our van to assist with customer deliveries

Required Skills And Experience
- Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
- Stellar communication and people skills
- Customer focussed individual
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S
- Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
- Full valid manual driving license would be beneficial
