Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Tool Hire Supervisor to maintain and deliver the daily operations of the Tool Hire Department in our Haslemere branch, who is as passionate about great service as we are!

Branch opening hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 08:00am-12:00pm
Key Responsibilities
You\'ll be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day tool hire activities, deploying resource to ensure efficient, effective and safe operations of the Tool Hire Department in our busy branch by building relationships with customers.
  • Use our in-house systems to process hires, organise deliveries, manage stock control and keep customers updated throughout their journey
  • Ensure inventory and availability levels are appropriate to meet customer needs, collaborating across the local network
  • Work closely with Branch Management to provide a fantastic customer experience. Provide guidance and constructive feedback to team members, assisting in their development and supporting them to deliver a high-quality customer experience
  • Deliver and collect customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring orders are accurate and all equipment is secured and loaded/offloaded safely in accordance with company procedures
  • Ensure inventory and availability levels are appropriate to meet customer needs, collaborating across the local network
  • Take initiative to resolve challenging situations, including customer complaints or feedback
  • Maintain full compliance with company policies and procedures, especially in relation to Health & Safety

Required Skills And Experience
  • Manual UK driving license, held for a minimum of 1 year, with no more than 6 points
  • Previous industry experience would be beneficial
  • Experience in a customer facing, sales focussed role
  • IT literate with strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident in leading and developing a team
