Overview
Are you based in the Glasgow area? Are you a confident driver with a passion for tool hire? Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for a Tool Hire Assistant who is focused on delivering great service.
Hours – 7.30 – 5.00, Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12. Location: Jewson, Transport Hub, Craighall Rd, Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery and collection of tools and equipment using a 3.5t vehicle, talking customers through how to use them on site
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of tool hire equipment in the workshop
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers, understand their needs, and provide advice and solutions to deliver the best experience
- Use in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
- Work in accordance with Health & Safety compliance
- Cover other depots within the hub to cover colleague holidays
